CO. Following the acquisition of the St.
Charles brand by a new owner in the late 90s,
Ellen worked with the company's parent
management team to establish and implement a
business plan for the re-launch of the brand.
The plan encompassed product redesign, pricing
strategy, distribution network and marketing.
Heritage Custom Kitchens Vice President,
Business/Dealer Development, 1992-1999.
Ellen joined the company in 1992 as part of a
new management and investment team. Working
directly with the CEO, Ellen developed a
strategic business plan to increase the
company’s sales through increased unit sales per
dealership. By enhancing the product design,
individual unit value was also increased. She
created materials and programs for a
three-tiered dealer/designer training program
that focused on improving cabinet line
knowledge, focusing selling skills on the
high-end consumer, and improving aesthetic and
ergonomic design talents.
